Crisis packages for Swedish jobs and companies (16 March)
Swedish Enterprise is in continuous dialogue with the Government. We have put forward proposals aimed at avoiding any unnecessary outsourcing of jobs and companies. The crisis package of 16 March, providing rapid and powerful liquidity-enhancing measures, is most welcome. These measures include creating a system for short-term leave, deferred payment of employers’ contributions, preliminary tax on pay and VAT and a temporary suspension of employers' sick pay liability. Expanded loan and guarantee facilities for companies in Sweden (20 March)
The Government is providing SEK 125 billion to Swedish companies in the form of loans and loan guarantees. You can read more in the Government press release.
